Mr McConnell — though I am no lawyer, I suggest you reread the First Amendment that begins “Congress shall make no law…” The amendment restricts government, not private persons. To invoke the constitutional right to free speech in this context is disingenuous at best. Nobody owes anybody else a platform.

You can certainly make political hay out of this straw man, however. Especially since it is such a red meat distraction from everything else.
