I came back to this story while I was cleaning out old favorites. This one will stay. Reading it now two years on reminds me of what I was thinking when I first read it — how bad will it get?
My question is being answered every day. And every day is worse than the last.
I hope you are sticking to your conviction that cinema is what is needed. And I assume, from this story, that the cinema you would make is not three hours of superheros and explosions. We don’t need more of that, either. If your script raises more questions than it answers, then you are writing for cinema.
I wish you all the luck in the world. We’re going to need it.
