Further, it is literally impossible to do both. One (children’s health) or the other (profits) must trump in any question. If profits damage health, profits must be sacrificed. The current approach does exactly the opposite. If health threatens profits, health must be sacrificed. You can’t have it both ways. Leave the market to concern itself with profit. Leave the government to concern itself with health. Then give the government the power to enforce its concern.
